With your family in Bern? They all want to experience something, but everyone has different interests? A challenge for parents and grandparents, but not for Bern! No matter what the weather is like, the capital city and its surroundings offer an El Dorado for every taste. But where do we start? Museums, playgrounds, sledding, or the animal park… let’s start with a little action: at the Bimano<\/a>, a modified logistics hall, both young and old, get their share. The indoor playground fascinates with unique constructions and vintage Bobby-Cars. A new addition to the Bimano is a Skills Park with extensive sports and bounce areas. Let’s stick to the theme “Playground” – the Rosengarten playground offers a great view of Bern’s old town and lots of fun for the kids. The B\u00e4renpark, the L\u00e4ngmuur adventure playground, and the Altes Tramdepot<\/a> restaurant are all nearby. After all, you shouldn’t skip the snacks in between.<\/p>\n

If you want to go a little higher up, a trip to the Gurten<\/a> is the right thing for you. The journey with the panorama cable car rewards you with a view of the whole city. And as soon as there is enough snow, a children’s ski lift runs on Bern’s local mountain, and the Schittelweg guarantees a speedy downhill ride back to the middle station. Visits to the Natural History Museum<\/a> are ideal for cold winter or rainy weather. Especially in the mornings, when it’s still quite quiet, you can climb around on tree trunks and crawl into caves in the Pica’s Nest adventure area at your leisure. There are also picnic corners and a studio with further play and learning possibilities. If that’s not enough, you can continue to the D\u00e4hlh\u00f6lzli Zoo<\/a> or the Ropetech Rope Park<\/a> with various courses and viewing platforms up to 23 meters high.<\/p>\n

Those who are more interested in culture are in good hands at the Creaviva<\/a>. The children’s museum, with its interactive art education, offers playful access to art and culture. Here, self-initiative is required, as young and old can try different creative design skills in the open studio. A work of art in itself is the show dairy<\/a>, where traditional craftsmanship meets the latest technology. In the experience world, you can see at first hand how around 8,000 liters of milk are made to cheese every day. In addition to exciting facts and the history of the traditional Swiss product, you can even learn how to make cheese yourself!<\/p>\n
