Winter was long enough – no wonder that you\u2019re now drawn to the countryside – where nature is awakening and everything is starting to bloom. First a warning to all tourists, amateur photographers and Insta-Spot-Lovers – pull out those cell phones, polish the lenses and oil the selfie sticks: here come the most beautiful springtime photo spots in Berne!<\/p>\n

Let’s start with our absolute insider tip. We do have to admit, this one isn\u2019t so easy to achieve. Halfway between Mahagony Hall on the Aare and the B\u00e4renpark, you can catch a glimpse of a small but beautiful little garden. The seating area in the middle of the greenery is lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, this idyllic photo opportunity is on private property, but for a long look or even \u201ca little photo\u201d, you can allow yourself to be carried away.<\/p>\n

Bern is actually known for its Italian-inspired flair. In spring, the city could also be mistaken for an enclave in Japan. The cherry and magnolia blossoms bathe everything in a white-pink dreamscape. The most beautiful flowers can be found in the rose garden: the sakura trees there are a gift from Japan to the city of Berne. Unfortunately, the magic of flowers only last for a very short time: after almost 10 days everything is gone again. The remaining wait for the roses to bloom is sweetened by the daffodils that line the meadows and Aargauerstalden. And speaking of daffodils: along with magnolias, they\u2019re the main attraction on Viktoriaplatz in front of the BKW building.<\/p>\n

A visit to the botanical garden is a must when it comes to a flower tour. Of course, you can also find all kinds of unusual varieties here, and the best thing is: Caf\u00e9 Fleuri<\/a> will be open again from May, which is ideal for a snack in between.<\/p>\n

Another insider tip for us is the idyllic Egelsee, which is in the middle of the city. It\u2019s located in the Egelm\u00f6sli, less than 1km from B\u00e4renpark. It\u2019s THE Insta hot-spot of the spring! And if your story timeline is already full, you\u2019re more than welcome to come and relax in the Stay KooooK.
