Welcome to Leipzig – one of Germany’s most exciting and lively cities. I’m Sabrina, your host at Stay KooooK Leipzig, and I’m looking forward to showing you my hometown: There is so much to discover. After all, Leipzig or “Lipzk,” as the Sorbs used to call the “place by the lime trees”, looks back on a history of more than 800 years. Europe’s largest student club, for example, resides in the 450-year-old underground vaults of the Moritzbastei, Johann Sebastian Bach worked for 27 years as Thomaskantor in St. Thomas Church, and the famous Auerbach’s Cellar, which Johann Wolfgang von Goethe made immortal with his Faust saga, is located in the elegant Mädlerpassage.
Today, Leipzig is a dynamic economic and cultural metropolis, a trade fair and university city, and the fastest growing major city in Germany. The quality of life and nightlife is second to none. Especially KarLi, Drallewatsch, and the Schauspielviertel offer experience, culinary, and entertainment around the clock. You don’t understand a word? Never mind, I’ll be happy to help you discover the city’s special features. Our Stay KooooK Leipzig is located in the heart of the city and is the perfect starting point. Our total of 64 fully-equipped studios mostly have balconies, and the 70 rooms all offer great views of the city as well. Let’s go; there is a lot to discover! We are looking forward to seeing you.
