Stay KooooK Bern City is located at Zeughausgasse 26, 3011 Bern, right in the heart of the Old Town. This makes it an ideal base for extended stays, business trips, or city breaks in Bern.

The “Metro” public parking garage is located right next to Stay KooooK Bern City. The entrance is on the right-hand side of Schüttestrasse. Hotel guests enjoy discounted rates — simply ask your host to stamp your parking ticket to receive the special rate.

Bern Central Station is only about a 5- to 6-minute walk away. The Bärenplatz bus stop is right outside the door, and you can catch a tram at Kornhausplatz. With the Bern Ticket, you can ride buses and trams for free during your stay.

Sure. Even if your room isn’t ready yet on the day you arrive, you can stop by The Flat starting at 8:00 AM. There, you can settle in, take a deep breath, work, make yourself a cup of coffee, or just get a taste of the Stay KooooK vibe. In the meantime, you can store your luggage in the luggage room. As soon as your room or studio is ready, you can move in at your own pace.

Stay KooooK Bern City doesn’t serve breakfast, but there are several bakeries and supermarkets right across the street. In our shared kitchen at “The Flat” you’ll find everything you need to make your own breakfast. Free coffee, tea and water are also available.

Your room is not cleaned daily. You can find the cleaning schedule at any time in your Digital Guest Journey under “My Stay” > “Services”. There, you can also book additional cleanings until 11:59 PM the day before.

“The Flat” is our communal living area, rather than a traditional lobby. Here you’ll find a shared kitchen with free coffee, tea and water, a gaming room and workspaces. You can find more information about “The Flat” here:

During your stay, you can use the Bern Ticket to ride public transportation in zones 100/101 for free. You’ll find the activation code in your Digital Guest Journey under “My Stay”. You can then easily activate your ticket using the following link.

A washing machine and a dryer are available on the first floor next to the public restrooms. To use the machines, please register with WeWash. The cost is CHF 4 per wash or dry cycle. An ironing board and an iron can be found in the luggage room (215) on the second floor.

The luggage room is located in Room 215 on the 2nd floor. You can access it using the digital key from your Digital Guest Journey. Your digital keys are active from 8:00 AM on the day of arrival and until 6:00 PM on the day of departure. We assume no liability for items left in the luggage room.

Check-out is at 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Late check-out is available subject to availability and for a small additional fee. Please contact one of our hosts to check availability.

Your digital keys will remain active until 6:00 PM on the day of departure. This means you can still store your luggage in the luggage room after check-out or continue using “The Flat”.

Yes, that depends on where you booked. If you booked your stay directly through Stay KooooK, just contact our team via WhatsApp or email. We’ll work with you to see what’s possible and will be happy to help you extend, change, or cancel your reservation. If you booked through a third-party provider—such as a booking portal or an external platform—please contact that provider directly. In this case, any changes or cancellations must be made through the respective booking platform.

Nearby, you’ll find the restaurants Lötschberg (Swiss cuisine), Kornhauskeller (Mediterranean and Bernese cuisine), and Altes Tramdepot (brewery and restaurant). For Italian cuisine, Ristorante Luce is located right on the premises.

The Zytglogge is just a few minutes away. The Old Town, the BärenPark, and walks along the Aare are among the highlights. For great views, the Rosengarten or Bern Minster are well worth a visit.

In winter, you can go ice skating on Bundesplatz. At the beginning of the year, the Holiday Fair and the Bern Carnival take place.

The temperature is centrally controlled: cooled down to 19 °C in summer and heated up to 23 °C in winter. You can adjust it via the black panel at the entrance – press “ON” and “–” for cooling (blue light) and “ON” and “+” for heating (red light).
