Yes, late or overnight arrivals are no problem. You’ll receive your digital keys on the day of arrival via your Digital Guest Journey; access to “The Backyard” is available starting at 8:00 AM, and your room will be ready at 3:00 PM.

Stay KooooK Bern Wankdorf is located at Trüsselstrasse 4a, 3014 Bern, right next to the train station. This makes it an ideal base for extended stays, business trips, or city breaks in Bern.

The Wankdorf City II public parking garage is located in the same building as Stay KooooK Bern Wankdorf. The entrance is on Trüsselstrasse — turn right from Stauffacherstrasse onto Trüsselstrasse to reach the parking garage.

Stay KooooK is located right next to the Bern Wankdorf train station, with connections to trains, trams, and buses. With the digital Bern City Ticket, you can travel in zones 100/101 for free during your stay.

Check-in is done digitally via a personal link that you’ll receive by email after booking. Use this link to enter your information, save your credit card details for payment, and activate your digital keys on the day of arrival. You can find detailed instructions for self-check-in here:

No, if you’ve already completed all the steps in your Digital Guest Journey and received your digital keys, you can go straight to your room. If you need assistance, the hosts are of course still here to help you at any time.

Requesting your credit card information on the guest portal serves as a guarantee. It is part of the digital check-in process.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire building. Just select the public Wi-Fi network “Stay KooooK” and connect to it.

Stay KooooK Bern Wankdorf doesn’t serve a traditional breakfast, but there’s a supermarket in the same building, and you’ll find several bakeries at the main train station (just a 3-minute train ride away). In our shared kitchen in the Backyard on the 8th floor, you’ll find everything you need to make your own breakfast. Free coffee, tea and water are also available.

Your room is not cleaned daily. You can find the cleaning schedule at any time in your Digital Guest Journey under “My Stay” > “Services.” There, you can also book additional cleanings until 11:59 PM the day before.

“The Backyard” is our communal living area, rather than a traditional lobby. Here you’ll find a shared kitchen with free coffee and tea, a gaming room, and workspaces.

During your stay, you can use the Bern Ticket to ride public transportation in zones 100/101 for free. You’ll find the activation code in your Digital Guest Journey under “My Stay.” You can then easily activate your ticket using the this link.

Washing machines and dryers are available on the 8th floor. To use the machines, simply sign up with WeWash. The cost is CHF 4 per wash/dry cycle. Ironing boards and irons are also available.

Lockers are available in the Backyard on the 8th floor. Your building access key is active from 8:00 AM on the day of arrival and until 6:00 PM on the day of departure.

Check-out is at 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Late check-out is available subject to availability and for a small additional fee. Please contact one of our hosts to check availability.

Your digital keys will remain active until 6:00 PM on the day of departure. This means you can still store your luggage in the luggage room or continue to use “The Backyard” after check-out.

In the area, you’ll find restaurants like FREIBANK (modern), Steinhalle (upscale), and Lötschberg (Swiss cuisine). For Italian dishes, try Ristorante Luce; for drinks, check out Moxy or Turbolama.

You can reach Bern’s Old Town in about 15 minutes. Popular activities include walks along the Aare River, the Rosengarten panorama, or a visit to Wankdorf Stadium.

In winter, you can go ice skating on Bundesplatz, and in February, there’s the Bern Carnival. The Holiday Fair also takes place at the beginning of the year.

Highlights include the Paul Klee Museum and the BärenPark. The Botanical Garden is a quieter option, and the Gurten, with its view over the city, is a special recommendation.

We are centrally located, so there are several supermarkets right in the immediate vicinity. There is a Coop in the same building. On Sundays, only the shops at Bern Central Station are open.

You will receive your invoice after check-out. It will be sent to you via email and will also be available in your Digital Guest Journey starting on the day of departure and for up to 14 days after your check-out.

No, Stay KooooK operates exclusively on a cashless basis. Payment is part of the digital guest journey.

Yes, dogs are welcome at Stay KooooK Bern Wankdorf. For stays of up to 6 nights, we charge CHF 20 per night; for stays of 7 nights or more, there is a one-time fee of CHF 100 for final cleaning.

Yes, we also have accessible rooms with wheelchair-accessible entrances, an elevator, and walk-in showers.

You can dispose of your waste at the recycling station in the Backyard (8th floor). If you have larger amounts, our host will be happy to assist you.
